Comments : Work composed on 4 haikus by Matsuo Bashō in the original language. Apart from using the texts in Japanese language, I also wanted to give the music an oriental touch. For this reason I have used scales and textures of Japanese
music, and I have “abused“ silence (MA), although I have tried to be understandable by Western listeners.
There is also a version for clarinet and piano, and an optional violin part

the work consists of five small studies, in which each one I try to show one of the possible uses of the 4 hz crazy timbre. Combined with the timbre of a standard piano.
These five studies can be interpreted together or separately and not necessarily in the order in which they are in the score.
They are written without a bar and the tempo and duration of the notes are ndicative (always molto rubato) as, according to the room resonance, the vibrations that will be created can be different and more or less noticeable and it is important that the interpreter can enhance them with his interpretation.
