Leonora Milà, pianist and composer from Spain, born in Villanova. Studied under the famous teacher and founder of the Maria Canals International Competition of Barcelona, RIcard Viñas,from which she received schooling in piano. Also studied under Spanish pianist and close friend, Mauriec Ravel. A age 7, performed KV 488 by Mozart.

Her international career began in Switzerland, Germany and England where she performed as a soloist for the London Philharmonic Orchestra in the Royal Albert Hall in London.

She has performed in Europe, Asia and the Americas as soloist and as part of the London Philharmonic and several other notable orchestras: Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Suisse Romande, Hong Kong Symphonie, Orchestra National de l’Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Orquesta Sinfónica y Coro de la Radiotelevisión Española, Orquesta Ciudad de Barcelona-Nacional de Catalunya, Orchestra Central Philharmonic of China, Manila Symphony Society. Has played under the direction of
Moshe Atzmon, Pierre Colombo, Bella de Csillery, Miguel Angel Gómez Martínez, Rudolf Dunbar, Joan Pich Santasusana, Eduard Toldrà, John Pritchard, Li Delun, Alun Francis, En Shao, and Brian Wright.

Among these performances, she has been included in recordings of 15 CDs.

In 1994 she worked on a piece at the Mussorgsky Theater in St. Petersburg, Russia that later was also performed in Barcelona at the Gran Teatre del Liceo under the same direction and choreography. It was performed seven times in Barcelona.

Recently, she has done a series of concerts in Germany, presenting and assisting performances of her own works performed by the Philharmonischen Orchester der Stadt Ulm; Nürnberger Symphoniker; Staatsorchester Braunschweig y la Münchner Symphoniker and directed by James Allen Gähres, Siegfried Köhler, Jonas Alber and Giuseppe Cataldo.

In June 2001, she showcased the choreographic version of one of her most recent ballets, 'La huida del pinto Lee' and :Drame à trios' for the Companyia de Ballet Calidea, the Natonal Ballet of Andorra.

Leonora Milà has completed over 100 compoistions for piano, piano and voz, chamber music, symphonic music, opera, and ballet. Her works are edited and distributed by the Internation Music Company out of New York, and by Deltell & Son of Andorra.
